Virginia Cider Week Returns

Cider

As the crisp November air sweeps across the Commonwealth, Virginia’s cider makers once again take center stage. Virginia Cider Week isn’t just a series of tastings and events; it’s a statewide toast to craft, community, and the deep agricultural roots that make Virginia Cider something truly special.

Over A Decade of Celebration

First established in 2012, Virginia Cider Week was created to honor the Commonwealth’s long-standing cider-making tradition. Each year, cideries across the state open their doors with tastings, pairing dinners, and festivals that showcase the creativity and craftsmanship driving Virginia’s cider renaissance.

Cider runs deep in Virginia. As the sixth-largest apple-producing state in the nation, our orchards and cideries are blending locally grown fruit with modern techniques to craft bottles that tell a story of Virginia and the people behind every pour.

Discover the Virginia Cider Trail

Make the most of Cider Week with the Virginia Cider Trail, a free mobile pass that turns your cider adventures into a rewarding experience.
