Virginia Cider Week is November 15–24, inviting cider lovers to explore the rich heritage and flavors of Virginia Cider. With a thriving cider industry rooted in centuries of tradition, Virginia is now the sixth-largest apple-producing state, and its cider makers are passionate about crafting exceptional cider from Virginia-grown apples.

Join the Celebration
Virginia Cider Week began in 2012, when the Virginia House of Delegates and Senate passed House Joint Resolution 105, designating the week before Thanksgiving as a celebration of Virginia cider. Since then, cideries statewide have marked the occasion with festivals, tastings, pairing dinners, workshops, and open houses—a true testament to the growth and diversity of Virginia’s cider industry. Raise a glass to Virginia Cider Week and explore the exciting events planned for this year!
